We are seeking a reliable and skilled Floor Care Technician for our team at the Alcon Campus in Fort Worth. This role is essential for maintaining high-quality flooring across the campus, including tasks such as mopping, stripping, resealing, polishing, and carpet extraction. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, adaptable, and able to handle requests and emergencies swiftly.

Key Responsibilities:

Floor and Carpet Maintenance:

• Floor Care: Perform stripping, resealing, and polishing as scheduled or needed, ensuring floors are well-maintained and safe for use.
• Carpet Care: Conduct regular carpet extraction, maintenance, and spot cleaning to uphold cleanliness and presentation.
• Safety Awareness: Place wet floor signs and other caution markers in all active work areas to promote a safe environment.

Equipment Maintenance:

• Equipment Care: Properly clean, maintain, and store all floor care equipment after each use.
• Preventive Maintenance: Complete weekly preventive maintenance (PMs) on equipment to ensure reliability and safety.

Qualifications:

• Experience in floor maintenance, including stripping, sealing, polishing, and carpet care (preferred).
• Self-Motivated: Ability to work independently and efficiently handle daily tasks, service requests, and urgent work orders.
• Safety-Focused: Strong commitment to safety standards and attention to detail.
• Availability: Willingness to work flexible evening or weekend shifts as needed.
